2005 Topps eTopps
Topps continued its on-line card program for a fifth year in 2005. Initial Player Offerings ($5-$7 per card) were again made for only one week with allocations having to be made for some cards in high demand. After the IPO, cards could be bought and sold within on-line portfolios, or physically delivered for a fee. The 2-1/2" x 3-1/2" cards' fronts have an action photo at top and a portrait photo below. Backs repeat the portrait photo, have a 2004 recap and 2005 "prospectus," and a few biographical bits and stats. A total of 111 cards was issued, skip-numbered from 1 to 220 - 2007 Standard Catalog of Baseball Cards, 16th Edition.
